A New Exhibit About Asteroids - The National Science Foundation has awarded the Space Science Institute of Boulder, Colorado, a $3 million grant to develop a national educational project about asteroids. One of the goals of the project is to research how the use of middle school students can help the exhibit development process. This news feature is scheduled to air on KGNU on March 10, 2009.




No Place Like Home - This is a documentary I produced for Free Speech Radio News. It's about the challenges that homeless schoolchildren face. Catherine Komp was the producer at FSRN and Antonio Ortiz was the engineering assistant. It aired on November 27 and 28, 2008.



Children in poverty - The 2008 Kids Count report showed an increase of 73 percent in the numbers of children in poverty in Colorado. Here's a news feature about what these numbers mean and the challenges service providers see. It aired on KGNU on September 29, 2008.
